Regular dental care prevents plaque. When the layer  of bacteria on the teeth becomes reinforced with mineral deposits, it turns into bacterial plaque.
The bacteria from this plaque layer find their way into the spaces between the teeth where they deposit metabolic products that attack the connective tissue between the teeth and gums.
Application:
Apply a little Dental Care to a pad of gauze and gently massage the animal's teeth and gums. Apply once per week. Where plaque is heavy, apply daily for the first 3 – 5 days.
